Chidy Wayne is an artist
multidisciplinary of Spanish-Guinean origin. He began his professional career at the end of the 1990s.
2000 as a fashion designer, but soon his sketches and his skill with pencils and watercolors

Currently, he makes minimalist, gestural and very personal pieces from his workshop in Barcelona.

Thanks to the numerous awards received and the collaboration with highly prestigious brands, each People talk more about you and your works of art, but how would you define yourself? What does it have Chidy Wayne special that differentiates him from other artists?
I am a very analytical and deep artist who trusts that your best work is always the one you work on. As obvious as it may seem, only I am me. That Individuality is full of references and the sum of all of them is what differentiates me and makes it unique.

To create our beauty rituals, we look for inspiration in the most unexpected places. We study and collaborate with sectors as diverse as nutrition, aesthetic medicine, neuroscience or gastronomy to detect opportunities that push us to question our own limits, where do you find the inspiration to create your works of art?
My inspiration comes, in form, from some currents of modern art such as Art Brut, Cubism, Pop Art... Outside of the modern I I was inspired by urban art and the primitive art of the first people. In its meaning, my work is inspired by classic philosophical questions such as those that question the identity of one or his own existence.

Natura Bissé has always defended the power of touch as a transformative element of emotions. Our cabin rituals would not be the same without the expert hands of the beauticians. One of your collections also features hands, why? What is special about them for you?
In my conceptual universe, open hands are understood as mirrors and symbolize the reflective testimony of a court conversation intimate, such as the internal dialogue of the human being in front of his own reflection. They are the same hands that make me aware of my own identity.

Our concept of beauty is unique, we understand taking care of yourself as a necessity and not as something banal; That is, physical care must be intrinsically linked to inner balance and comprehensive well-being, how does Chidy Wayne understand beauty?
I constantly search for beauty and as I mature I understand that beauty is imperfect. A controlled imperfection is a beautiful thing. my work As an artist it consists of controlling imperfections and showing that result in the most honest as possible.

Lastly, how does an artist like you take care of yourself? What are your moments of enjoyment and well-being? staff?
I take care of myself by being mentally at peace and sleeping well, without regrets that break my sleep. I like a good exfoliation and receiving on the weekends a healthy dose of sun rays on my face, which fill me with health. I really enjoy kicking the ball and running with my 4-year-old son.
